Happiness in Islam

The phrase "all in the heavens are equal" does not refer to a single, officially named ancient religion, but rather describes a common, recurring motif found in various ancient Near Eastern and Mediterranean religions.
Wikipedia +1

Based on historical and mythological studies, this idea of universal equality in the afterlife or divine realm originates from:
  • Mesopotamia: Beliefs that gods like Anu (heaven) and Ninhursag (earth) structured the cosmos, often with a tripartite view (heaven, earth, netherworld).
  • Egypt: Ancient myths where earth and heaven were once one, reflecting a sense of original unity.
  • Phoenician and Sumerian Tales: Themes where dying-and-reviving gods, such as Tammuz or Baal, were worshipped as far back as 2750 BCE.

Key Connections to Antiquity:
  • The Trinity/Tripartite Structure: Religions of the ancient world (Phoenicia, Sumer, Palestine, Greece, Rome) commonly believed in a tripartite structure of the cosmos, which influenced later, more egalitarian ideas about the afterlife.

  • Afterlife Beliefs: In some interpretations of ancient faiths, there was an idea of a shared, similar afterlife for everyone regardless of their earthly standing, antithetical to some later, more hierarchical religions.

The concept is a summary of the shared religious atmosphere of the ancient Near East rather than a singular doctrine.

Seeking knowledge:

In Islam, seeking knowledge is considered a noble and essential pursuit. From the earliest revelations, learning and reflection were emphasized as ways to understand both faith and the world.

Muslims are encouraged to use their minds, ask questions, and pursue beneficial knowledge that leads to truth, wisdom, and a deeper awareness of God.

But I'm not in hell. I have experienced immense success. I'm happily married. Have great kids and grandkids. I had a 38 year career that was intellectually, spiritually and monetarily stimulating. My health is amazing. I have great genes. I look twenty years younger than I am. I have friends that I play golf with and go out to dinner with. My life is amazing. How exactly is that hell?
How? You believe in an imaginary past where a trinity became a supernatural sacrificial mangod, a false counterfeit Jesus, the Antichrist that never existed, and so you died in that very day and descended into Gehenna, hell which perverts your perception of life. Everything you think see feel hear imagine and conclude is perverted by that superstitious crap festering in your mind` effectively rendering it useless to the point where you can't comprehend that what you do is a sin under penalty of the death, a curse, a self perpetuating delusion reinforced weekly by the hypnotic effect of praying to a false mangod, practicing human sacrifice, chanting, candles, bells, stand up, sit down, kneel, all the while believing that you are saved from the consequences of the sin of idolatry by practicing idolatry which is a sin, an abomination that causes desolation making you imagine a future that will never occur.

You believe in a magical past that never happened, have no inking about what is actually talking place, and hope for eternal life in heaven that will never come unless you repent. Thats how.

You are not participating in reality. You are in an artificially induced state of mind that resembles a very deep sleep and for you reality is like a consuming fire that will never go out. Hence your homosexual obsession, xenophobia, bigotry, antisemitism, and calling my God, the source of truth, satan, seals the deal.

I do not doubt that you are successful by worldly standards and your wife is amazing but if you mislead her into practicing idolatry you are guilty of murdering your own wife even if she was already practicing idolatry.

Murderer.

never - the spirit is inviolable, the true gift of the heavens - sinners do their own is their destiny, not the heavens. bing.

their phony religions.
So YOUR God doesn't do anything in YOUR life? You are all alone?

Yes, how? According to you there is no eternal damnation. So I am wondering how I will suffer for my beliefs.

No. I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who are very much real and alive and are the secret of my amazing success in life. Where's my suffering? Where's my destruction? I'm not seeing it. I'm living the dream.

The primary path to success in the Bible is obeying God’s Word, as stated in Joshua 1:8, which advises meditating on Scripture day and night to "make your way prosperous". Scripture teaches that wealth, honor, and competence come from God, not just individual effort (1 Chronicles 29:12, 2 Corinthians 3:5). True success is defined as following God's calling and producing fruit that lasts, which may not always equate to, or may exist without, high material wealth (Joshua 1:8). Success comes from trusting in God's presence and direction, even in difficult circumstances (e.g., Joseph in Egypt). Jesus suggested that true greatness comes from humility and service (Luke 9:48) rather than worldly status.

But that's not what I am seeing. I am seeing amazing success in all things. Where's this destruction you keep threatening me with.
You believe in a magical past that never happened, have no inking about what is actually talking place, and hope for eternal life in heaven that will never come unless you repent. Thats how.
Incorrect. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And I have. I have amazing material wealth, amazing health, amazing family, amazing friends and an amazing career. God has blessed me in every way. Where's this destruction you keep threatening me with.
You are not participating in reality. You are in an artificially induced state of mind that resembles a very deep sleep and for you reality is like a consuming fire that will never go out.
But I am participating in reality. It's you who isn't participating in reality. That's why you are so angry all the time. You hate reality. I love my life. I have been blessed in every way.
Hence your homosexual obsession, xenophobia, bigotry, antisemitism, and calling my God, the source of truth, satan, seals the deal.
You must be describing yourself.
I do not doubt that you are successful by worldly standards and your wife is amazing but if you mislead her into practicing idolatry you are guilty of murdering your own wife even if she was already practicing idolatry. Murderer.
Except according to you there are no consequences. Where is this destruction you keep talking about?

Yes, how? According to you there is no eternal damnation. So I am wondering how I will suffer for my beliefs.
You are confusing your capricious and cruel petty tyrant of a trinity with he who truly is God.

Your suffering is trying to go through life pretending to believe in the garbage you know is impossible to be literally true because reality contradicts those beliefs day and night like a eternal consuming fire that will never go out. In addition to that the cognitive dissonance resultant renders you oblivious to the fact that you died a very very long time ago and to predators in the wilderness you are easy prey, a nest on the ground, a crippled jackass.

You thinking that you have it made in the shade is just evidence of the mercy of my God, just like sheep being led to the slaughter have no inkling that they are about to be butchered, you have no inkling that you are on the road that leads to permanent destruction. So enjoy your fantasy life in dreamland while you can because It will only last until your soulless body dies.

No. You are trying to lead others away from God with your fake theology. You don't believe in anything supernatural. You're playing a game.

But I am not suffering in the slightest. I have peace, joy and happiness. I'm not at war with others like you are. It's YOU that is suffering.

Says the guy that is at war with Christians. Look at how angry my beliefs make you.

It's evidence that God exists, is moralistic and is providential. It is the Glory of God to have enemies such as you.

you have no inkling that you are on the road that leads to permanent destruction.
You believe everyone dies and that's it. You do not believe in an after life. You do not believe I will burn in hell for eternity. So what permanent destruction are you talking about? Because I am living the good life. I have it all.

you died a very very long time ago and to predators in the wilderness you are easy prey, a nest on the ground, a crippled jackass.
Nope. I'm crushing it. I have it all. God loves me.

I have been blessed in every way.
"These are the words of the Lord my God: Fatten the flock for slaughter. Those who buy will slaughter it and incur no guilt; those who sell will say, "Blessed be the Lord, I am rich." Its shepherds will have no pity for it. For I will never again pity the inhabitants of the earth." So I fattened the flock for slaughter for the dealers......

You don't believe in souls. You don't believe in heaven. You don't believe in hell. You don't believe in God.

You don't believe in God. You don't believe in anything except the satisfaction of material needs and primitive impulses.

This passage is Zechariah 11:4-6, a prophetic allegory where God instructs the prophet to shepherd a "flock" (Israel) destined for destruction due to corrupt leaders and disobedience. It symbolizes divine judgment where Israel's leaders/oppressors exploit them without guilt, prompting God to withdraw mercy.

What you keep forgetting is that God repeatedly forgave Israel for idolatry but YOU have turned that into a death sentence that has no teeth because you don't believe in souls or hell.

God forgave the Israelites numerous times throughout the Old Testament, with the Book of Judges alone highlighting a cycle of sin and forgiveness occurring six times. Rather than a specific, limited number, God's forgiveness is portrayed as continuous and recurring, often linked to repentance. The Bible describes God as forgiving the Israelites in the wilderness (Psalm 78:38) and throughout their history. The book of Judges records six distinct cycles where Israel sinned, faced oppression, and was forgiven. Israelites complained 10 times in the desert. Jesus' instruction to forgive "seventy times seven" in Matthew 18:22 represents unlimited or perfect, ongoing forgiveness. The Old Testament frequently mentions God forgiving the nation of Israel for sins, including idolatry. Ultimately, the narrative presents God as forgiving the Israelites repeatedly despite their repeated disobedience.

Funny how the tongue betrays the secrets of your soul by projecting it onto others.

"I have amazing material wealth, amazing health, amazing family, amazing friends and an amazing career. God has blessed me in every way."

Thats great! I am happy that believing in an edible mangod has made you so stupid. Enjoy!

Yes, and I also have a relationship with God who has blessed me so that I have material wealth. My success is evidence of God.

Old Testament (OT) accounts often conclude by describing material wealth because, within the ancient Israelite worldview, prosperity was viewed as a tangible sign of divine blessing, covenant faithfulness, and the fulfillment of God’s promises. Material wealth served as visible evidence of a favorable relationship with God. Material accumulation (livestock, land, silver, gold) was seen as a direct blessing from God rather than solely the result of human effort, confirming that the person was in good standing with the divine. God promised Abraham that his descendants would be blessed, a promise that in the patriarchal context translated to being fruitful, multiplying, and acquiring territory and wealth (Genesis 12:2, 13:2). In a turbulent ancient world, wealth equated to security, sustainability, and the ability to pass on a legacy to future generations, indicating that God had established the person in their land. While modern perspectives often prioritize internal, spiritual satisfaction, the narrative structure of the OT often highlights external, measurable results—such as long life, many children, and vast possessions—to signify a "full" or completed life. While material wealth is often featured as a "happy ending" (e.g., Job’s final chapters), it is rarely presented as the ultimate goal in itself. Instead, it is typically depicted as a natural byproduct of a life lived in alignment with God's will and wisdom, which prioritize righteousness and obedience over the pursuit of wealth itself.

I see. You are one of those prosperity gospel dimwits. Ahem, no one in Texas will tell you this but your beliefs on material "success" contract the words of Jesus, the froward Jewish man.

If you don't believe me look it up. Or ask AI your substitute brain that isn't very intelligent.

I did look it up.
