All adopted children have preverbal trauma when separated form the birth mother. Gays arent the issue. Gays can make fine parents in adoption. The measure is the parents ability to parent a traumatized adoptee and most have no idea. Gays tend to be more open to learning. My specialty as therapist was adoption. I have counseled over 800 families and and the gay ones were just fine.
