The Jews in the Ottoman Empire were treated a lot better than they were in, let's say, the Russian Empire or the German Empire.
Yes, until Erdogan took over, Turkey was pretty much sucking up trying to get into the Western Club that always barred it at the door. Then Erdogan said, "Screw it" and decided to do their own thing.
I know nothing of the sort.
I know what sensible international organizations are saying.

But let me guess, they are all Anti-Semitic and secretly being run by Nazis.
You mean other than controlling their economy and who could send in Aid?
The problem was, of course, is that in some ways, Hamas was enabled by Netanyahu to create a rival Palestinian Authority.
Your ignorance is almost as stunning as your bigotry. The Ottoman Turks defeated the eastern Roman Empire, the West, in the 16th century and relations between Christian Europe and Muslim Turkey remained bitter until after WWII when Turkey wanted to join the EU and NATO for obvious reasons. For all those centuries while Muslim Turkey had bitter relations with Christian Europe it had very warm relations with the Jews, bitter relations with the Arabs, and after the state of Israel was declared in 1948, Turkey formed positive economic and defense ties with Israel right up until Erdogan came to power.
Until then, Turley consistently sided with Israel in disputes with the Arabs.
We all know shocking pictures and stories about starvation in Gaza were widely taken a face value, but now we all know that at least some of these stories and pictures attributed the ravages of other diseases to starvation, intentionally or not. Now both the NYT and BBC have been forced to admit they were among the guilty parties who spread these false stories, so we know for a fact that at least some of these stories and pictures are false and that unless we know for sure others are legitimate, we really don't know how bad the food shortages in Gaza are.
In addition, we learned today that the UN has been grossly under reporting the amount of aid going into Gaza.
UN underreported aid delivered to Gaza by 6,000 trucks since May alone
There have been “severe reporting discrepancies” made by the UN as to the amount of aid that has reached Gaza, the Israeli agency COGAT (
Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories) said, pointing out that nearly 6,000 aid trucks that entered Gaza since May were omitted from UN Reports.
Since May, according to
UN data, only 3,553 trucks have entered Gaza.
In reality, Israel facilitated the entry of nearly 9,200 trucks, 2.5 times the volume of aid that the UN claims actually reported.
“UN data on the volume of aid, along with repeated statements and reports by senior members of the international community, are often presented as an indisputable absolute truth,” said COGAT.
“However, the UN’s documentation and monitoring mechanisms are deficient and present a misleading, partial, and at times inaccurate picture of the
humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.”
Figures only include trucks facilitated by UN agencies and a small number of NGOs
The UN publishes its figures through a public dashboard that claims to present a full picture of all humanitarian aid, but in practice, it includes only the trucks facilitated by UN agencies and a small number of aid organizations working with them.
The dashboard fails to include aid delivered by other actors in the humanitarian system, including various states, additional international organizations, the private sector, airdrops, and the distribution centers of the American company, the
Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, explained COGAT.

So while it is not unusual to find food shortage in war zones, there clearly is no reliable source of information about how bad it might be in Gaza.
