In the wake of recent terrorist attacks and rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, Hamas has threatened to escalate the situation if Israel does not commit to allowing the transfer of Qatari money to Gaza at the same time as the electricity supply increases, a member of the terrorist organization told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Ahbar.

Qatari envoy Mohammed Al-Amadi is expected to arrive in the next few days to meet with Israeli and Hamas officials, to discuss maintaining the peace and transferring funds to the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, the Arabic TV station Al-Jadeed reported that Hamas believes the explosive situation between armed militias and the organization raises the concern that "lone-wolf terrorist attacks" will increase in frequency, which could worsen an already tense situation. Hamas does not take responsibility for these attacks, opening the door for young people in the Gaza Strip to to carry out "improvised" attacks - which pose a security challenge in terms of early intelligence detection.

RE: Hamas Gives Ultimatum: Implement Agreements or Face Escalation
※→ Disir, et al,

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): There is no question that the Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) is considered a Terrorist Organization. But what is interesting is that unlike HAMAS - Israel is criticized for complying with International Law on this matter.
1999 International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism

• Requires parties to take steps to prevent and counteract the financing of terrorists, whether direct or indirect, through groups claiming to have charitable, social or cultural goals or which also engage in illicit activities such as drug trafficking or gun running;

• Commits States to hold those who finance terrorism criminally, civilly or administratively liable for such acts; and

• Provides for the identification, freezing and seizure of funds allocated for terrorist activities, as well as for the sharing of the forfeited funds with other States on a case-by-case basis. Bank secrecy is no longer adequate justification for refusing to cooperate.
I...lone-wolf terrorist attacks" will increase in frequency, which could worsen an already tense situation. Hamas does not take responsibility for these attacks, opening the door for young people in the Gaza Strip to carry out "improvised" attacks - which pose a security challenge in terms of early intelligence detection.

Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of Terrorism (1938)

1938 Definition of Terrorism.png

Article 2 International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism

1. Any person commits an offence within the meaning of this Convention if that person by any means, directly or indirectly, unlawfully and wilfully, provides or collects funds with the intention that they should be used or in the knowledge that they are to be used, in full or in part, in order to carry out:

(a) An act which constitutes an offence within the scope of and as defined in one of the treaties listed in the annex;
OR
(b) Any other act intended to cause death or serious bodily injury to a civilian, or to any other person not taking an active part in the hostilities in a situation of armed conflict, when the purpose of such act, by its nature or context, is to intimidate a population, or to compel a government or an international organization to do or to abstain from doing any act.

(COMMENT)

Now, in the practical sense, we all know that the World Bodies and Global Leadership can:

◈ NOT advocate for HAMAS when HAMAS is (not only) threatening Criminal Acts directed against the State of Israel, but threaten to intensify the level of past criminal behaviors to a new level of violence.

◈ NOT levy actions of any consequence against or sanctions against → Qatar for the funds they allocated for terrorist activities and future criminal behaviors.

There are only a dozen or so states that are afraid of being labeled as being a state that supports terrorism. Qatar is one of them. Qatar is one of those states that openly engage in
and promote the use of Arab organizations to intimidate a population like Israel → and to compel a government or an international organization to do (or to abstain from doing) some act that furthers the criminal objective.

Most Respectfully,
R

So, basically, he is saying that if Isreal doesn't do as we say, we're going to commit suicide.

I can live with that.

Let the carpet bombing commence.

I was just going to say I bet the Israelis are really shaking in their boots now. Maybe finally Hamas will give them the final excuse to end this crap for good.
