What does illegal immigration have to do with Trump's and Vance's lies about Haitians living in Springfield, OH?

Thank you for that deflective post subtly changing the subject. To be honest, I don't know what the actual story is in Springfield as I have not seen it with my own eyes, but while the /official/ story from the township is nothing to this story, there have been videos of residents complaining about the issue and police video even of an arrest of a woman eating a dead cat!

THAT SAID, I don't agree with Trump bringing it up at the debate without more solid proof than that. It is not a hard stretch to imagine the strain having thousands of illegals dumped in your town, unknown people who don't know the language or anything, with a certain crime element that you don't need to bring in the whole cat-voodoo thing--- it just makes you sound like a wild conspiracy theorist ranting at UFOs in the sky.

So while we might agree on that, the question still remains: WHO decided on all these Haitians coming here and why? Why wasn't this an issue put to a vote by the people whose lives are affected? Whatever happened to our REPRESENTATIVE government? Seems like we have Haitians getting far more representation than the people of Springfield, Charleroi or wherever.

Now Springfield did reach out and ask for more resources for Education and Health because of the increase in population. JD Vance took that as meaning they were wrecking their town, which is quite the opposite.
