This was (imho) the prettiest American Quilt of the Baltimore Album group that I could find this morning.
The Baltimore albums were a group of under 100 quilts found, made in antebellum days (around 1850) by young women in a church group that was made famous by its township and detailed, amazingly wonderful quilts they learned to make depicting the best of America in their day..
