House Repubs are on board with the false narrative the WH is trying to foment regarding lower court rulings that have blocked or delayed the implementation of the regime's draconian, radical, agenda. Hence the bill they passed and the name they gave it. There are a number of talking points reverberating around the right wing echo chamber in support of this. "Legislating from the bench," "judicial overreach," "unelected, activist judges," blah, blah, blah. trump supporters parrot them like a mantra.

One of the more high profile, consequential cases being the regime's deportation of around 270 men to an El Salvadorian gulag. One man in particular who was mistakenly deported posing a problem for Team trump. Because the SC ruling on the return of Abrego Garcia to the US drove a truck over the false narrative by reaffirming lower courts have all the authority they need to order the regime to do what it is told when it commits executive overreach.

The SC should deal with anything involving the executive branch, as the equivalent level of the judicial branch.

District courts were never meant to be able to apply rulings outside their district.

Congress has the power to do this, as they have the power to authorize lower courts. Only the SC itself is enshrined in the Constitution.

One man in particular who was mistakenly deported

He was an illegal alien, right?
He was deported, right?
What's the problem?

I'm 100% for getting rid of rogue activist judges all the way up to the Supreme Court.

The Judge ordered that he not be deported based on a valid claim of fear of being killed on returning to his own country.

All the Trump Administration had to do in 2019 was facilitate his deportation under 8 USC 1231 to a 3rd country. Then return to the judge to remove the hold. The choose not to.

So am I, especially the corrupt judges.

Not enough of a reason to allow district judges to stop the Executive branch regarding Presidential directives.
Sure it is. Thats part of what the Federal court system does is hear Federal cases. Do you want to wait on SCOTUS to hear your case about whether the Fed government illegally seized your car or denied your Medicare? And remember, if you limit it for judges against Trump, you limit for judges against the next President, who statistically will be a Democrat.

Now arguing a court's jurisdiction only impacts the district it is in, THAT however does fall in line with many traditions and would be good for SCOTUS, as SCOTUS could hear issues where two districts disagree etc. Thats normal, and would limit district authority.

Sorry but these are direct suits against high level Executive orders based on laws passed by congress.

This isn't someone suing for their car back from a rogue civil forfeiture.

Dems have created a new paradigm with these wide spanning TRO's, and they need to be nipped in the bud.

How is that our fault?

Limiting it to the District the court is in would do that.

Limiting it to the District the court is in would do that.

Then they would just all file in the DC Circuit because that's where the President is.

If they want to sue on such a scale, only the SC has the equivalent power level as the President.

That’s never how it’s worked. The Supreme Court delegates authority to the lower courts, just as executive branch members are delegated authority by the president. Your solution is a prescription for chaos. The lower courts were created to only send the most important cases to SCOTUS, but the executive doesn’t get to decide which ones they are.

Maybe you should get in touch with the members of the regime who admitted Garcia was mistakenly deported. Or read any of the many available articles explaining the situation.
