These people did the right thing, they had gun safes for their guns....and it didn't stop criminals from getting their guns. This is why mandatory safe storage laws are unConstitutional, and stupid......once you allow the government to mandate safe storage rules.....they can make them so difficult to comply with that normal, law abiding gun owners won't be able to afford them....and the criminals will still get the safe open.....

Dennis Prager, a conservative radio host did a ride along with the L.A. police.....they told him that the gangs have different crews that are tasked with different jobs...drugs, robbery, .....and they have whole crews devoted to robbing homes simply to steal guns.

You are right. All of these constraints imposed upon gun owners are really liberal policy workarounds trying to thwart the 2nd Amendment. I've even heard of an effort to make bullets with a limited shelf live. All of it is done to try to take firearms out of the hands of lawful victims while facilitating the criminal. They really don't care about you; they know they can't control the criminal but they CAN control you, if they don't overtly make us criminals too in the normal process of just trying to defend ourselves!
