That's what I hear from every snarky, TV educated "historian".
Read and learn:
“A Map of Nazi South America (Forged by the British)”
“This map makes clear the Nazi design, not only against South America but against the United States as well”, said FDR
“This map makes clear the Nazi design, not only against South America but against the United States as well”, said FDR

EXERPT
“Hitler has often protested that his plans for conquest do not extend across the Atlantic Ocean. I have in my possession a secret map, made in Germany by Hitler’s government – by the planners of the new world order. It is a map of South America and a part of Central America as Hitler proposes to reorganize it,” revealed US President Franklin D. Roosevelt in his Navy Day address to the nation, broadcast on 27 October 1941." CONTINUED
I hope you will notice that the date on FDR's speech is before Pearl Harbor.
Contrary from what you may have learned from too much TV:
"Nazis ‘offered to leave western Europe in exchange for free hand to attack USSR"
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/...in-exchange-for-free-hand-to-attack-USSR.html
EXCERPT "The academic said Hess had brought with him the proposed peace treaty, expressed in numbered clauses and typed on paper from the German Chancellery." CONTINUED
Wrong again. The objectives of WW 2 Germany were limited and specific. The childish notion that "Hitler wanted to conquer the world." is just more deliberate Allied propaganda.
Most educated adults are aware that all sides used propaganda and America's propaganda ministry was the OWI (Office of War Information).
Again, read and learn:
"Hitler didn't want world war"

EXCERPT "Hitler didn't want a world war, and had no stomach for fighting England, according to Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Louis Kilzer, author of "Churchill's Deception" (Simon & Schuster, 1994).
Hitler believed the future of Western civilization depended on the cooperation of Germany and her Aryan cousins: England and the United States. His territorial demands were limited to conquering Communist Russia, which he regarded as a proxy for Jewish world ambitions. He was determined to avoid fighting a war on two fronts.
"The blood of every single Englishman is too valuable to shed," Hitler said. "Our two people belong together racially and traditionally. That is and always has been my aim, even if our generals can't grasp it." (Kilzer, p.213) "CONTINUED
Germany made repeated appeals to the League of Nations to stop the persecution of ethnic Germans by Czechoslovakia and Poland in Czechoslovakia but the weak League of Nations did nothing
EXCERPT "
Germany had already done the "right thing" by protesting in writing to the League of Nations literally dozens of times. The League of Nations did nothing, yet the problem had to be solved." CONTINUED (1)
Complete nonsense. Now you're just making things up.
Stalin waited only 2 weeks after the German invasion / rescue before he took a larger pare of Poland.
If France and England really tried to negotiate a German (but not Russian?) withdrawal they had years to address German concerns over the massacres of ethnic Germans by the Poles at the League of Nations.
Why didn't they?
Please do some independent research and try to think for yourself.
