Now, if he was released in 2004, that is on Jr., not Obama, because Obama hadn't even started to consider running yet.
As far as the taxpayer money he received? Again, has nothing to do with Obama, or even the US taxpayer for that matter, because no American taxes were used to pay him, British taxes were, so no Americans need to worry about that one either.
So basically, Jr. screwed up and released him, he sued the British government for being imprisoned and won 1.2 million dollars, and then decided to go back and fight ISIL.
Nope, this isn't on Obama, it's on Jr. and the British government.
