That doesn't address the problem of captured prisoners of war and suspected terrorists. It may reduce the amount we capture but they will still exist. So what do we do with them?

Send them back where they came from. Same thing we've done with POW's from every other war we've fought when wars end.

The problem is you conflate terrorism with war. Terrorism is a criminal act, not an act of war between nations.

Quick question TCL, how could Obama have possibly let this man go when he was released in 2004? Jr. and Cheney were in office, and Obama wasn't even being thought of for president back then. He didn't hit the federal Senate until 2005, a year AFTER this dude was released.

And, there was no charge to the American taxpayer, because when he was released by Jr. and Cheney, he was sent back to Britain, where he sued the BRITISH government for wrongful imprisonment and was awarded the money from the BRITISH government.
