Born today, 2:19 PM, 9.5 lbs., 21 inches. Caesarian -- head too big and saw no point in leaving womb. Can't say as I blame him.

My Granddaughter now being 13 is giving my daughter the same grief she gave me as a teen, bringing the Parental Curse full circle.

Not any more. Kids grow up and move on. I've had to bury too many dogs and cats. I get too attached. Can't take having them put to sleep or get hit on the road. Turns me into a weepy puddle of useless mush for weeks. Maybe some chickens if I can figure out how to keep them safe at night..
