Democrats launched a sweeping plan Thursday to transform the U.S. economy to combat climate change and create thousands of jobs in renewable energy, signaling its likely elevation as a central campaign issue in 2020 despite President Donald Trump's failure to mention climate change in his State of the Union address.

In the 1950's , Cuba was one of the wealthiest nations in Latin America as well, until the Ultraliberal Castro Regime took over. I remember the I Love Lucy episode where Ricky's relatives from Cuba met Lucy and were unimpressed. The truth is that Cuba was a more attractive immigration destination for a lot of folks from Europe than America was.

There is nothing bigoted about protecting the frontier and not having open borders.
