You're not?? What, in your own mind, are you? And what do you do with card board and other items one might recycle?

I lobbied for a recycling depot where I live now. In the middle of nowhere. Paper items before that were burnt properly. Ashes mixed in with compost. Canned items for years were crushed and minimized.

Simply because I take it further than recycling I can get a brag on. Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled to death with anyone on this planet that recycles anything.

I have almost nothing new in my house. I shop at a place called the MCC. Everything is used. I'm quite happy living this way. Many wouldn't be.

But I'll be damned to be lectured to by some kid on a board who is linked by fossil fuel energy when I have spent my whole life fighting for the environment. A true conservationist.

I've battled mercury and my best war was fighting intensive hog farms and their pollution down east on my aquifer in southern Ontario.

I take this really really seriously. I'm working on "boil water" issues now. It's what I do.

I'm not ready to connect the dots here, but.....there are a lot of similarities between the Green Nazis prior to WWII and the "fanatics" that that wallow in the environmental movement of today.

But the hardcore environmentalists who had found their champion in the person of Adolf Hitler were soon to be disappointed. By the end of the 1930s, with a World War imminent, Hitler abandoned most of the environmental pretexts he had used to trick the masses, hook, line and sinker, replacing it with a war-ethos of sacrifice for the greater good and ‘lebensraum’. We have companies that can purchase carbon credits and still pollute our environment more than corporations who don't have the money to buy off pollution rights, that proves there is something clearly and assuredly wrong with our environmental policies . How about the oh so environmentally correct recycling, which is nothing more than a hoax. Recycling requires hauling of the materials, which involves pollution through gas using vehicles, then we have to pay people to sort out the recyclable items. In recycling have you ever thought about the toxic chemicals used to recycle...these toxic chemicals which end up in our water. Matthew, do you understand the concept of externalities? If I have to explain it to you, you just don't get it. The EPA is also an infringement upon private property rights.

As for the FDA, it was created due to people like you who are too dumb and lazy to research products on your own. The FDA is another hoax. How many times do you see advertisements on TV for drugs that cure one problem but you see warnings for all kinds if other side affects? You have no faith in people do you? The FDA harms more people than it helps in that people rely on their biased research, instead if researching the product themself. I am a firm believer in letting people research the product, as opposed to a political bureaucracy do it for them. If a product is bad, given our media and people actually having to do the work themselves, bad companies will go out of business.
