Did you not see that I was admitting to a point that deniers (likely including you) have made? If someone on my side of the argument had been silly enough to point out those increased damage costs as evidence that storms were intensifying, you and yours would (and did) come back with the observation that the value of vulnerable property and infrastructure has risen over time. But if you want to toss all that out, feel free.

Let me add to the brilliance, which it is not really brilliant, the scientist simply has common sense.

Having zero actual experience in climate science or climate modeling, I find it exceedingly unlikely that Clauser created a new model from scratch. I'd bet a dollar to a donut that Dr Clauser took an existing model (all public domain) and simply increased the albedo parameter. Lo and behold, projected temperatures fell. But I'm just speculating here. What I would like to see is some particulars on this model, how well it did on hindcasts, perhaps some background showing why Clauser believes the world's climate scientists got their cloud data so wrong and what his model actually showed. Does anyone know where to find that?
