It seem you have forgotten the trillions of wasted dollars done by George W. Bush and the GOP, and just want to focus on the wasted money by President Obama.

Also the GOP has been in control of the House since 2011 after the 2010 mid-term election and the Senate flipped this last mid-term election, so why is it just President Obama and Democrats fault for the failure of the entire Federal government?

I have voted Republican for years but holding my nose and pulling the lever at the booth ain't my idea of representative democracy. What has the glorious GOP accomplished since they took the Congress last time? Nada as far as I can see. The problem is that people don't want to give and take these days, it is my way or the hiway, so we the people sit and wait for something constructive to come out of WDC.

President Obama is just another Jimmy Carter to me, and should have never been elected as President, but the GOP has done very little to improve the issues in this nation, so why should I close my eyes and pretend they are any better?

As for our government wasteful spending that is leading us down the road that Greece is on should be placed on the shoulders of every politician in DC including Rand Paul.

Why would Democrats call for slowing of spending on social welfare programs seeing that is their agenda?

We could, but with the amount of resources we have it is still off the distant but it does not mean we shouldn't curb our spending.

You believe you are writing to some fiscal Liberal and the reality is I am a fiscal conservative and liberal on social issues like Gay Marriage because the business of someone sexuality is none of mine, and is their choice in life, but if it has to do with the spending of Taxpayer dollars then I will voice my opinion on it.

The fact is we can cut and slim down our Military with the new tech. We can boot social programs to state and local governments and tell the people of that state if they want social welfare then tax accordingly and not use the Federal Government as their weapon to get what they want. We need to also cut the Corporate Welfare too. Taxes need to be reformed. Also infrastructure like interstates and a few other things are the only thing the Federal Government should be involved.

The government agencies are too big too...

Do we need FEMA, and the TSA?

Can't we combine the FBI and CIA?

Now one department that should be invested in is NASA but it seem our government has lost interest, but that could have to do with NASA being outside Houston and President Obama hatred for Texas. I mean we did not even get a damn shuttle!
