Great. I have a car to sell you. All you have to do is commit to buying it, sign the papers and pay for insurance and make notes on it for a year. After a year, I'll let you know how much it will cost and what the interest rate is. No secrets, right? You wouldn't take that deal on a car. It's because keeping your baptismal covenants are important. Keeping the temple covenants is a greater commitment with greater eternal damnation for breaking them. So, the Lord wants to make sure you are really committed to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ before making those commitments. Because you are right.
