.That's kinda sad. Taco Bell is tex mex. I had some REAL tacos at a hole in the wall place next to a truck stop not far from the Mexican border. Those were THE BEST ******* TACOS I ever had in my life. They tasted NOTHING like taco bell. I wound up eating 4 of those damn things that evening. When you ordered, a mexican took your order, that you could hardly understand, and a little old lady in the back made it for you. It took a little bit to get it, too. Man that was good.

LOL, a new local Mexican food place opened up touting "street tacos" Street tacos are usually a couple of flat corn tortillas with some kind of meat (I prefer carne asada) some fresh diced onion, a radish, a slice of lime and maybe a pickled jalapeno on the side--that's it. This new place served one of these Old El Paso stand-up taco shells with some ground beef and lettuce, tomato and cheese--it wasn't bad for something you might make at home, but it definitely was not a street taco..
Taco truck in Bellflower CA in 1969.
THAT was a taco!

If you could only read the labels on the frozen bags of food they receive before they start frying it up! Yuckers. Worked in the Deli -Winn Dixie I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it myself.I hadn’t realized McD’s had rolled back their DEI Policues. Maybe that’s why their service seems to have improved over the last several months. I’ll definitely have to start going there more for my fast food needs.
LOL, my all-time favorite burger is the Knockout from Scenic Drive-In in Modesto, CA. MMMM-MMMM. It's spendy, $11, but it's worth every penny.Hippo Burger and Bun B's Trill Burger are the place to go here. But I fix my on so who cares about McDonalds.

Why a new nationwide boycott of McDonald’s feels like just deserts
In this political climate, we’ve seen some companies quickly wave the white flag and abandon diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and seen others put up a fight.www.msnbc.com
If McDonalds ever went under, Trump would starve. Great to see the boycott giving them fits.
It's simple, you either support America or you support Trump; can't do both.
Bigly!!!

Which means they land and don’t move.astros threads never go anywhere...
Of course. Well noted.I think that the left's moves to increase minimum wages has had more to do with McDs downturn (if there is one) than anything else. No one with more than two active brain cells is going to pay their inflated prices for that garbage. Dollar menu is one thing--$10 menu quite another.
Do you actually have any facts showing the boycott harmed McDonalds?![]()
