What these governors are doing is banding together to make sure that they control the messaging on when things start, how they start, what parameters need to be met, etc. Six Northeastern governors have done the same. But you're right, the governors, mayors, and business leaders took action when you know who didn't. These governors want to decide how things start up. Not some pep rally holding reality TV star.

What's best for the people is to escape their government imposed house arrest and go back to work
as soon as is medically feasible.
Leaving people without a way to support themselves is as cruel as infecting them with a flu virus.

By the way, the CDC said that in 2017/18 61,000 people in the US died from the flu.
Yet stores stayed open. And schools, and other businesses and churches, sporting events, etc. and society didn't grind to a halt because some of our most vulnerable people died due to a seasonal virus.

Waiting for a perfect time that will never come to return to normal is cruel and very much a political
ploy, as these governors demonstrate. Democrats are demonstrating they just don't give a fuck!

He proudly calls my state governor a snake then says he won't talk to him and advises pence not to take his calls.

He has played favorites in delivering much needed supplies to the states. States like Florida get what they ask for. States like mine are on their own.

We can't have some places open but others closed. Those in the open places can come here to infect us more and cause us to have to be shutdown longer. Or they can get the virus other places then take it home to make things worse there.
