Actually, the first part of that law is already part of what companies are doing.
You get to "choose" your status. BUT..........this is the kick in the face.........you have to PROVE it.
Which goes against previously written laws protecting peoples rights as far as their religious beliefs, gender, personal preferences (gay, bi, blah blah), race, and all that. And companies HAVE NO RIGHTS OF ANY KIND to ask you ANY of these questions, regarding ANYTHING! The ONLY exception being if you work for a religious company, they have the right to ask you about your religion and who/what you worship. Other than that, it is supposed to be ILLEGAL for a business or company to even bring these subjects up.

And as far as I know..........these laws have NOT been changed or altered.

The new part of this law is him making the companies responsible for PAYING for employees to be tested, if they want them tested. Before, the employees were saddled with that expense.

And I LOVE the fines. They ain't cheap!!! And that's PER EMPLOYEE, not one lump sum of employees!!!!

True. I've heard more than several stories about "Florida Man." Some folks there have that "hold my beer and watch this" thing going on but overall, it sounds like the single most best state to live in if you value your freedom and independence.

Texas use to be that way when I lived there. Until too many Northern libs brought their values with them.
