even though I didn't want Obama to get elected in 2008 because of his political stands, I'm proud of the fact that we could elect a dark-skinned guy with a funny name to be president...

and it pisses me off to no end to hear about how some folks believe that folks like me are racist simply because we disagree with Obama's political philosophy...
