WASHINGTON—Declaring that the new $2 trillion proposal was unrealistic, GOP leaders reportedly voiced their opposition Tuesday to President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill with an uplifting reminder that it is okay to be a work in progress.
"What this proposal calls for is nothing less than a set of completely unhelpful expectations that every single bridge, road, and sewage system needs to conform to some rigorous set of perfect standards,” said Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), adding that "lawmakers should instead be focusing on legislation that supported electrical grids and waste treatment facilities that were still figuring some stuff out."
"Infrastructure comes in all shapes and sizes, and in all different conditions and levels of functionality, and we Republicans think that’s beautiful. It is irresponsible to compare one of our older trains or pothole-filled streets to a high-speed rail in Japan or utilities in Germany when it is perfectly fine to set your own benchmarks for success and work toward them at your own pace."
"This bill would put unnecessary pressure on our nation’s infrastructure to live up to impossible goals.” GOP officials added that throwing money around would only cause dependence on Congress and that it would be much more meaningful if the nation’s infrastructure was instead permitted to improve itself entirely on its own."

The GOP is getting run over and they still want to play the same game they did during Oblama because dipshit is still their leader...I'd fire his ass.

The lil bitch is good for absolutely nothing other than saying no to anything that isn't a Republican idea, regardless of merit.
Fucker can't govern - Time to retire him to the lettuce patch.

They are just people of limited vision and more attuned to politics than getting anything done to benefit the country long term. Not exactly national leadership quality or potential. Probably why they are losing the college educated vote.

Pelosi and the Democrats blocked the infrastructure bill for over two years, because they didn't want to hand Trump a "victory". Democrats should stop pretending as if they care for Americans, they don't.

And? Chauvin was a Democrat, in a Democrat run city, Democrat run police force, Democrat mayor, Democrat Black Sheriff, Democrat governor, Democrat house...the "system" the Left keeps complaining about is all run by the Left. And has been, Biden promoted systemic racism for 48 years, and KamalaHarris put thousands of Blacks in jail for crimes like smoking marijuana. Here's the kicker: Harris refused to release evidence against police butality and shootings involving Blacks, that would bring about convictions.

But, please go ahead and post more of your brain-dead memes Iike a completely brainwashed ignoramus...
