GOP Operative Found Guilty Of Funneling Money To Donald Trump

Jesse Benton, 44, was pardoned by Trump in 2020 for a different campaign finance crime, months before he was indicted again on six counts related to facilitating an illegal foreign campaign donation. He was found guilty Thursday on all six counts.

Russia Russia Russia. Just exactly what was that Durham guy investigating again?

WaPo? About as believable as the old standard DailyKook.

Lame.

The piece doesn't say the money was funneled to Trump. It says the guy was working for a Pro-Trump SuperPac.

SuperPac's can't have direct connections to campaigns or candidates.

It looks like the Russian paid the guy 100K for an intro and photo with a famous person, and the guy (as a "consultant") arranged the meeting and paid the 25K to the RNC to get the ticket.

Influence peddling, but they haven't shown how any money went to the Trump campaign, 75K went to the guy for his "consulting fee" and 25K went to the RNC.

Really? That wasn't an editorial opinion piece. What part are you saying isn't true? Part of what they were citing as background on the story came from the first trial, where he was also found guilty of other campaign finance felony after the 2016 trial, where he was found guilty and later pardoned by Trump. A simple search pulls up the records.

Onto another “got him now”
It’s so sad to see hoaxers derive joy from their obsession that they will never be settled nor happy unless Trumps name is obliterated from history. Kinda like the “feel good” boost they though they would get from removing statues. It’s called “other directed behavior” and it’s psychologically extremely aberrant and destructive.

Thank you.

Ya know, the whole part about Trump getting money from Russia? Nowhere does it say that Trump received a dime. It says that it was money sent through a pro-trump superpac. ZERO evidence Trump received anything or knew anything about this.

Hey! Nicely laundered and cleaned, eh? Best politicians foreign money can buy if they do it right and if not, very hard to prove and many times, taking years to prove it? I suspect that is why Jesse Benton was found guilty.., AGAIN. This time, no pardon from Trump, though. Tough luck, Jesse.

Any comment as to why Trump pardoned him in the first place?

That's alright though, because after what is finally realized about the Biden's and their alledged corruption, otherwise upon the new investigative committee's slated to move forward now, Trump will look like a 1950s boy scout with honors, and all his badges when the comparison's are all said and done. Stay tuned.

Trump had even higher hopes and dream about Durham, than that, but it was a nothing burger, though. Good luck with your reindeer games.
