Today's Morning Joe had JS going on and on about how this gun legislation should have been a "slam dunk" because 90% of Americans wanted it.

He said Obama should have threatened Senators and told them that he will "make calls" to ensure they will fail at fundraising. That he would personally support their opponents. That he should, how did they put it? Make them "bend over"?

Now this is the hilarious part. The people on the show described the legislation as very "mild" that does almost nothing.

So Republicans are calling Obama weak and saying he should spend all this political capital for legislation that would only pass the Senate? For sure would never pass the House? That everyone refers to as "weak and mild"?

See? This is why he's president. He understands "strategy". He understands which fight to fight. Now all those Republicans will have to face the voters. You can see them now with a split screen, side by side with the al Qaeda terrorist video, both agreeing on how easy it is to get guns. And they both want them for the same reason. To kill Americans. Clearly you don't go deer hunting with a gun that will only leave half a deer.

Obama will have led us out of two wars. In spite of Republicans, he has gone after al Qaeda and taken them down one at a time using modern technology. He is leading us out of recession with Republicans fighting every step of the way. Obama has chosen to fight China when Romney moved jobs to the China the very month of the election.

In fact, the reason 90% of Americans are for it is because of what it's called. How many actually understand it would do basically nothing?

i dont think he is a very good leader here at home...he is about as good as Bush was at talking to the other side.....they both suck at doing that....but i will give him his due at taking out the trash...... Pres. Obama is superior to any one of the recent Presidents at taking out those that fuck with this country......
