Airline security.
Do they exist?
They would if we ended TSA but you knew this.
I see. What powers would they have?
Keep people off their planes.
Based on what? Searches?
Most people aren't searched now.
Could they search?
No idea. I have no reason to believe they should have to.
It's your scenario.
Why wouldn't they have to search for bombs?
I didn't say that.
Johnson's hissy fit over the compromise made by Senate R's illustrates two things. First, Mike knows his job as Speaker is dependent on him remaining trump's sock puppet. So any pretense to rational behavior from him for the benefit of the country is out the window. At around 3 a.m., and with just five members present, the Senate voted to advance a bill to fund all agencies under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) except for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). DHS has been unfunded since February due to disputes over ICE and CBP’s often violent operations.
“In the dead of night, with only five senators present on the floor and no one there to object, the Senate rushed through a DHS funding bill that deliberately left ICE and CBP unfunded,” Self wrote Friday in a social media post on X. “Now, they are leaving town. No SAVE America Act. ICE and CBP unfunded. Senate Republicans just gave the Democrats everything they wanted and more.”

ICE is funded through 2029 ..

Second, there aren't always two sides to every story. ICE's tactics are in need of review and reform. Everyone knows that. But this is trump, so he won't admit it. Because if D's are for it, no matter what it is, he's reflexively against it. The merits of the D's argument never enter the equation.
Does it claw that back or is it just more trolling with “concern”?There was concern amongst House Republicans that the wording of the Senate bill clawed that back.
Does it claw that back or is it just more trolling with “concern”?
More evidence that all patriotic Americans who understand we cannot survive another decade with the Klepto Dem Party and the Only Israel Matters GOP need to bolt to Libertarian Party and flush the traitors out of office.
That's what House Republicans were worried about, and they are addressing that concern with a modified bill.
This is the normal process between the House and Senate.
There is nothing NORMAL about any of this process.
ICE already has more funding than all other law enforcement combined.
Does it do it or not? That's what House Republicans were worried about, and they are addressing that concern with a modified bill.
