GOP hates Biden's oil reserve profit machine; House Votes on Strategic Oil Usage

If a damn frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass every time he jumped. Would of, could of, should of ain't worth jack shit. How the hell would Trump have "increased production"? How? Exxon released their earnings today, record breaking profits, like Chevron earlier. Recession probably on the horizon, tell me, what would the great orange God do to encourage those companies to increase production? And we are producing now more than ever before, wait till the January numbers come out. Why couldn't Trump have done that way back in 2018?

Like I said delusional and living in a fantasy world.

In 2018 we had plenty of oil and fuel was reasonable or as some might consider, cheap. Since fuel is a worldwide market most all countries had cheaper fuel.

Dementia created multiple anti-energy policies including doubling their royalty fees which I posted multiple times already. Trump would have never done that. He would have opened up more public land to them and not only issue leases, but drilling permits immediately. And he likely would have offered some sort of incentive to get the ball rolling quickly.

12.5% to 18.75% is not doubling. Texas charges between 20 and 25%, most other western states hit you up for 16.66%. But at a time that you say we had too much oil, hence the great all knowing God Trump negotiating a production cut from OPEC plus, he was also slashing royalty rates for his political cronies, some as low as .5 %. Talk about picking winners and losers.

My figures were wrong, but Dementia still increased royalty fees by 50%.

That's because gasoline was so cheap the market was about to crash. There is such a thing as having too much oil. During Trump's four years we never hit $3.00 a gallon nationally even amid one of the best economies we had in our lifetime when fuel always increases in price.

If OPEC pulled the same stunt on Trump that they did Dementia, you bet Trump would have threatened them with increased production. Remember at the time we were the worlds exporter of fuel. OPEC knew that if we started setting up for more production, we wouldn't stop because they decided to give in. Once oil companies make that investment, they are not about to let it hang until the next threat by OPEC. Once you start, it's drill baby drill.

You've got an excuse for every dirty and illegal deed Donald Trump perpetrated on the American people.

In December of 2020, after Trump knew that a vaccine was coming and that the USA would soon be re-opening and need energy when everyone got back to work, Trump signed an Agreement with OPEC not to raise oil production in 2021. He'd already lost the election by then and if Biden took over, demand for oil would rise.

Trump left a whole lot of traps behind to trip up Biden and this was one of them. Trump didn't care what it did to the American economy or the people, he just wanted to screw over Joe Biden.

No President has to honor an agreement or policy of a former President. That's why we have the worst border problem today in our country.

If demand of oil was rising because the economy started to grow, why did Dementia sign a bill that gave people federal unemployment on top of state unemployment from March until September of 2021? People were making more money sitting at home than working.

It was used for speculation Goober. It was used to lower the price of gasoline at the pumps. The profit made was a happy accident.

Once again, Republicans are trying to prevent Joe Biden from having anything to run on. Too late.
That it was wrongly (and probably illegally) used for speculation is beside the point....The illegitimate pants pooper had no idea whatsoever where the price of oil was going, and neither do you.

You moonbats keep thinking that if you miraculously get away with your foolhardiness, the ends justify the means.

P.S....I'm not a republican, and your own party is going to take the senile pedo out.

Says the dumbshit that thinks Joe Potatohead is doing a great job.
This ^^^^ coming from a guy that believes trump is about America, and NOT about trump first. trump is ALL about trump, he doesn't care about you at all.
He laughs at gullible Flash

"No, I don't take ANY responsibility at ALL." djt.

She doesn't have any party. She's from Canada.

While it might, technically, be true, it is absolutely a terrible practice to withdraw from an "agreement" negotiated by a former president. Of course, if it was a treaty it would be the law of the land. But, in the past, most presidents, if not all presidents, honored the agreements made by previous administrations. The reason is simple, how the hell are you, as the current president, going to be able to negotiate jackshit, when four years later another president will come along and ignore it.

Trump was too stupid to realize that reality. His damage to America's reputation abroad will take a generation to undo. Withdrawing from the Paris Accords, refusing to honor the Iran deal. No damn wonder he was laughed at when he went to international conferences. He is a flippin idiot.

International conference of Socialists. The Paris Accord was a stupid idea in the first place because it gave other countries a say-so in how we conduct our business. It basically was a document that gave our global competitors a free pass on pollution while placing a heavier burden on us. As for Iran they violated their agreement within the first few weeks after signing it. Do you think that such a country would sign anything that was a disadvantage to them or slow down their goal of becoming a nuclear armed country?

Only a moron President would have allowed this to continue. As always, Trump was right.

Iran has been steadily breaching limits set in the nuclear agreement in what it portrays as a calculated and justified response to the US decision to quit the deal,

Did you miss that part? I mean we have been down this road before. I am not googling, I will not source at the moment. Got some fine Prime Tenderloins waiting to go on the grill with real lump charcoal, crab cakes and poppers in the oven after pulling out an apple pie to cool. Steamed broccoli and Mexican corn with feta cheese will round out the menu. Some fine cheese and chocolate covered strawberries will close out the evening.

First, the past. During the Clinton administration Jimmy Carter went to North Korea and negotiated a deal for them to close their heavy water reactor. The US was to supply North Korea with the technology to build a light water reactor, which does not produce fissionable material. In the meantime, the US was to supply North Korea with heavy crude oil to help them with their power needs. Hell, they still need that help, the country is noticeably dark from orbit.

Congress never came through with the funding, and when Bush took office he told them to pound sand. Shortly thereafter they fired up that heavy water reactor and soon they were building nukes.

The exact thing happened with Iran, but it wasn't heavy crude, it was enriched uranium for medical purposes. That takes uranium enriched to at least 20%, which was forbidden under the agreement. And worse, Iran exported their stock of medical uranium to abide by the agreement, I think France got most of it. But then, they didn't get any in return. And when Trump reneged from the deal, like Bush Jr. did, Iran really didn't have much of a choice. The US has 20 million nuclear medical treatments per year. That indicates Iran should be doing about 5 million a year. With what? And if they get some extra uranium for bomb making, then so be it. This is on Trump, this is on us. Kind of hard to win the hearts and minds of the Iranian population when you are denying them a common medical procedure simply to make political points with the uninformed.

The President is privy to such information long before it goes out to the public, and that's why Trump got out of it. He knew what they were up to and doing.

Trump got rid of the deal in 2018. Here is an article from 2017 that confirms Trump's knowledge of what they were up to......that we knew about.

I think you made a mistake on the North Korea thing. It was Clinton that made that deal if my memory serves me correctly.

I hope you had a delicious dinner this evening.

The latest numbers estimate about a $4 billion windfall from sales of crude this year that is profit for the US.
Republicans don't seem to understand that you can refill the reserves as you would your vehicle. With the benchmark prices much lower and you buy at the right time, that just means you keep more money of that profit.

Still they ignore that issues and complain that the Chinese purchased the oil in an open bidding auction that the US had no control of. Linking it the Hunter B fiasco that really never materialize as a business venture and Joe Biden was a citizen during that time frame. Where is the signed documents where he is a partner?

Well I guess when you have a "nothingburger", the only satisfaction left is a vivid imagination.
