I'll answer but Are you asking because what Dana Rohrabacher said is just like what Harry Reid said? Are you saying the two statements are comparable? Both being wrong?
I am asking you to answer the question. If you then wish to ask a question, I will answer it.
But my question is very simple...
what did YOU think when Harry Reid announced to the World that the Iraq War was lost while we still had men and women in harms way fighting the "lost war"?
If that was put on TV internationally that would be a problem. But just because Reid says something doesnt make it true also. Your turn.
Are you asking because what Dana Rohrabacher said is just like what Harry Reid said? Are you saying the two statements are comparable? Both being wrong?
LMAO....you didn't answer the question. You simply said he gave his opinion. Nowhere did you say you approved or disapproved. Kind of spineless of you.
But as promised...I will now answer yours......
OK....first things first...
In my opinion, Dana Rohrabacher is an ass. He offered his opinion to an international audience and whereas he may truly believe what he said, he by no means spoke for most of us Americans.
Second.....Dana Rohrabacher is not the Senate Majority leader so he ONLY speaks for his constituants, not for the house or Senate.
Third....When a "leader" (referring to Senate Majority Leader, Speaker, VP, Pres. or any Secretary) speaks, they are speaking for the house or department they represent..
SO when Harry Reid said the war was lost, it WAS to an international audience because he was speaking of an international event....and to MOST who are naïve to how things work, it appeared he was speaking on behalf of the Senate.
Fourth.....Reid saying the war was lost could have had a major affect on the morale of those in harms way. And if you have ever experienced military training, you would understand how delicate morale can be and how important it is to NEVER compromise it during wartime.
Now MY opinion per your request......
NO FEDERAL ELECTED OFFICIAL SHOULD EVER CRITICIZE the President of the United States, or the United States as a country as it pertains to foreign affairs aloud. They should put their dissent in a congressional record; perhaps a letter to the President or SoS; BUT KEEP IT FROM THE INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE until the situation has come to an end.
Both men were wrong.
But Reid compromised the morale of our troops who were in harms way. If he knew anything about the military, he would never have done it.
Per my above opinion, Dana Rohrabacher was completely in the wrong and compromised our standing in the eyes of the international community.
And Romney? When he said what he said WHILE BENGHAZI WAS STILL IN PROGRESS....he lost much of my support.
Can you offer anything more that has some substance?
OPr will you simply do as you did...avoid offering your opinion?
