Google's "Gemini" AI - accidently revealed the dark side of Google.

Wow.
It is like I said, this has to change. It has to stop.
It will SOON reach the point when you can't tell if something is real or not, and no way to know if it is.
You can't tell me Gemini simply invented fake quotes. No way. And then lied about sources.
That is programming, not A.I.

I don't like the government involved in much of anything, but they are the only ones that can legislate his away.

A couple of years back I had posted a report where they had found fake books on Amazon that were rewritten. Words were changed. Stuff like that.

One of those books was 1984, interestingly.

This is back when ''Q'' was so pupular (for the wrong reasons)

Pretty sure that Q was the test model for the AI we see now. Of course, that's just conjecture on my part. But it's good conjecture, I think.

The company's only regret was getting caught. Conservatives already knew what Google was up to even before the release of this program.
