Type 'failure' into google and click 'I'm feeling lucky'.:D

This was actually a concerted effort by one of those moveon.org type websites.

How did this come about, especially since the phrase "miserable failure" appears nowhere in the President's biography? It was the result of a "Google bombing" project organized by George Johnston back at the end of October 2003, in which he used his blog to urge others to include links connecting the phrase "miserable failure" (a term used prominently by Democratic hopeful Dick Gephardt) with the President's biography in their own web sites and blogs:

It is also old news and has been posted before.

Must be a bug in the google search software.....

Liberating 50 million + people from tyranny, reinvigorating the economy, keeping terrorists from attacking the United States is not a failure by any stretch....

It should come up with something like .....

1) all things Jimmy Carter
2) John Kerry's election campaign
3) Bill Clinton's foreign policy
4) Communism and Socialism in general
5) Air America
6) The so-called "war on poverty" (now in its 5th decade of squandering tax payer money)
7) The late great American education system (no offense to the teachers on this board, I know it's not because of you!)

This is older than Jimmy Carter's butt boils, and all it proves is Liberals have way to much time on their hands.

Actually, lots of people have too much time on their hands. Another Google bombing got John Kerry's web site bumped to the top of the search queue for 'waffles.'

True. I'd forgotten about that one. But at least nobody is starting new threads about it 10 months after the election.
