A Middle Tennessee pastor held a burning of books and other materials on Wednesday night, citing the church's "biblical right" to "burn ... cultic materials that they deem are a threat to their religious rights and freedoms and belief system."

Nothing to see here folks....

Good for him. In the good old days they would toss a couple of sicko deviants on the fire as well. It kept the vermin in their closets and sewers where they belonged.

Oh, I thought there must have a Trump rally nearby. Instead it's just your run of the mill, tolerant, white, conservative Christian.

OMG!!
a private citizen burned his own books because he didnt like them,,

OH THE HORROR OF IT ALL!!!

Think about it, they paid for the books, which means the gave their money to the authors, just to burn the books.

Stupid is as stupid does
yep thats about as far as it goes,,

now whats even funnier is morons claiming a book burning like its a real book burning thats burning everyone of the books in existence,,

Christian conservatives like this is what made America great. You liberal heathens are taking America down.

but he who destroys a good book, kills reason itself,-John Milton
Milton was very much an outsider when he wrote that. The article doesnt state what books he is burning. The authors will be keen to have their names made public as a good book burning is a huge boost to sales of the book.

Regarding the man of God. Is he someone who rocks up to a full chapel on sunday or just one of these whack jobs who appears in the press more than the pulpit ?

This reminds me of the way that a good deal of people decided to respond to what the Dixie Chicks had to say back in the day.

God bless you always!!!
