CNN is trying to help out Slow Joe....so they list everyone who is ACTUALLY to blame for Afghanistan IN THEIR OPINION.

Remember all the times they did this during the Trump admin? Remember all the articles assigning blame to anyone BUT Trump?

Yea...me neither.

He shudda to the americans out first, but you guys who were for trump ending this fiasco would still be pissed at Biden actually getting it done, and now you're blowing the neocons again like you were before Trump.

Trump refused to allow the government of Afghanistan to participate in talks with the Taliban. How did that affect its army's decision to switch sides instead of dying for another lost cause?

Trump and Biden are only the most recent US presidents to hold responsible for today's crisis:

Let's Take the Profit Out of Wars

"We won’t know for some time the total corporate haul from the Afghan war’s 20 years.

"But Institute for Policy Studies analysts Brian Wakamo and Sarah Anderson have come up with some initial calculations for three of the top military contractors active in Afghanistan from 2016-2020.

"They found that total compensation for the CEOs alone at these three corporate giants — Fluor, Raytheon, and Boeing — amounted to $236 million."

Biden is like a big hairy cancerous mole that should be gnawed off by a rat.

It's so obvious you cannot ignore it.

Remember this:

"Afghanistan, where, by the way, I started the process. All the troops are coming back home. They couldn’t stop the process. 21 years is enough. Don’t we think? 21 years. They couldn’t stop the process. They wanted to, but it was very tough to stop the process when other things…yeah. Thank you. Thank you."

Trumpyberra bragging on how he forced America and their Incoming new President to withdraw and rely on the Afghan Army and the Afghan Government that Dumb-ass Donnie cut out of the talks with the Taliban. No wonder they quit the field without firing a shot. Donnies deal was dumb as dirt.

CNN is correct.

Your link:

"Unlike his three immediate predecessors in the Oval Office, all of whom also came to see the futility of the Afghan operation, Biden alone had the political courage to fully end America’s involvement.

"Although Donald Trump made a plan to end the war, he set a departure date that fell after the end of his first term and created conditions that made the situation Biden inherited more precarious."

Imho, we should also hold Biden to account for his initial support for a never-ending War on Terrorism which has now morphed from "boots on the ground" to "over the horizon", yet its victims on all sides remain largely the same:

"Over the weekend, the U.S. carried out two retaliatory strikes: first a drone strike in Nangarhar province on Friday and then another drone strike on Sunday in Kabul.

"The Pentagon said Sunday’s drone strike targeted a vehicle carrying as many as three suicide bombers. But local residents said the strike killed as many as 10 Afghans from the same family, including as many as seven children.

"Five of the kids killed were 5 years old or younger.

"The New York Times reports the dead also included a former Afghan army officer who had worked as a contractor for the U.S. military, who had came to Kabul with hopes of being evacuated.

"Meanwhile, President Biden traveled to the Dover Air Base Sunday to pay respects to the 13 U.S. troops killed Thursday.

"The soldiers were all between the ages of 20 and 31 years old. They were all children, some just infants, when the U.S. invaded Afghanistan nearly 20 years ago."

We shouldn't blame Biden because he's not really in charge anyway.

So that's the play? The liberals are going to ignore all the problems and try to put on a happy face? That's the whole problem with this administration. They actually expect that they can avoid responsibility. This is getting crazy, its one crisis after another without any resolution. Pathetic.
