They are violating those sanctions by fraud using false paperwork and flying other country’s flags. They are also money laundering and moving oil from one ship to another while at sea. Russia and China are upset about the US actively enforcing these sanctions. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Other nations most certainly protect their best interests at all times. Democrats in this country have had a habit of giving into other countries, which is why many of them love our Democratic presidents so much. They are pushovers. If other counties want a piece of the number one consumer market in the world, they have to play by the rules we set. They are free to go elsewhere if they so choose, but they won’t and can’t because of the economic strength of the US consumer.
