He's been successful but how successful do you have to be in order to be called a Golf Great? I feel like he was close but one major short of golf greatness and way less interesting than most on this list.

I am no golf great. My low handicap was 13 about 15 years ago. My brother got to a 4 playing literally every day which is worlds away from a 13. I bet I could get back to a bogie golfer 20-ish if I played semi-regularly which is good enough to enjoy it. I hike now instead of golf. Its a longer drive but I have more fun and get more exercise.

Yea, I admitted in my post he was successful... I just think he was one major short of being called a "Golfing Great". Look at the names with 7 or more vs 6 or less. I think that really is the cutoff. Doesnt mean I think he sucks by any stretch. He is Scottie Pippen, not Michel Jordan.
