Going to buy a Kia SUV

I had intended to help her with the water pump, but then looked on YouTube and had to tell her it was way beyond what I could do. Right away you could find nightmare videos and people pissed off. Half the engine has to come apart.
Ford got sued for that one and now Ford has changed the design.

This is how dealership mechanics stay employed. The horrible engineering is purposely done.

So stupid it's almost hard to believe they'd design an engine with an internal engine water pump. .. :cuckoo:
I made a thread about it.

The Admiral argued with me that it was a superior design...

Big mistake if you buy a hybrid. .. :(
Sure they get great gas milage and many are nice cars.
But after the warranty runs out and your hybrid needs repairs.
It's going to cost you a ton of money to get it fixed.
The parts needed to repair a hybrid are very expensive.
Plus, you'll have to take a hybrid to the dealership for any repairs.
And everyone knows dealerships charge an arm and a leg for car repair.
Because no Independent auto repair shop will work on a hybrid.
The reason is the hybrid's electrical/electronics takes specialized training and expensive scopes and tools to diagnose and repair problems.
Thx ..did not know that

Last time I ever put anything together was Jewish macaroni sticks in Hebrew school

The only thing Jeep about the new ones being sold today is the name JEEP on the vehicle.
Jeep is owned by the Italian car company Fiat.
Fiat cars are such an unreliable piece of junk that almost all of their dealerships in the U.S. have closed due to no one buying them.
Sadly, the Jeep's sold today have the pathetic Fiat engines and transmissions.
I have a Gladiator and it has nothing from Fiat in it. Wranglers, Gladiators, Cherokees, and Grand Cherokees are made in the USA.

Jeep.
ā€ŠJust ā€ŠEmpty ā€ŠEvery ā€ŠPocket.

Like I said.
I question the reliability.

Just might try a Toyota Tundra for my next towing vehicle.

Our old Corolla is much more reliable than our newer Jeeps.

Actually, Jeeps are "assembled" but not entirely made in the U.S.

"Sep 21, 2022 — Jeep parts are mostly made in the U.S., but some components are made at plants in Italy, Brazil, Mexico, China, and India."

Working on mine, it is a mixture of standard and metric tools.
Many components come from other countries.
