"God's plan" is the random shit that happens in this crazy world...

...there is no point in trying to make sense of it.

Children die of leukemia.

Good men go bankrupt while corrupt men get rich.

Innocent girls get raped and their rapists go unpunished.

Fires and floods kill people and devastate communities.

There is no plan, at least, no plan that makes sense to us human beings.

In the Book of Job, we are told not even to question what God does, because we cannot understand it.
Blah blah blah....everyone seems to know what gods want, when it's convenient....

In the Book of Job, we are told not even to question what God does, because we cannot understand it.

Everything happens for a reason. Children die and go to heaven so the adults they leave behind have an opportunity to seize salvation. Fires and floods happen to remind people that there is a God, and to seek Him out. Good people die to show us that we do not know the time or the manner of our death...nor do we know the time or the manner of Christ's return.
So what happens when we seek out this god?
If you accept the gift of salvation, you go to heaven. During your life, you allow God to use you as He will...as Christ did.

There is no ‘god’ as perceived by theists, and consequently no ‘plan.’

And the book of Job is a myth written by men.

It could not have been written by men. After all, what man would write, "Thou shalt not commit adultery/fornication or Thou shalt not get drunk?

On the other hand, women did not write it either. What women would write that the man is the head of the household and that women should submit to their husbands?

No, either aliens came down and wrote it or God did.

You be the judge.

Any igonrant iron age freak trying to tell people what to do. What did you expect them to write about? Quantum physics?

Satan raised issues against Gods universal sovereignty in Eden with the rebellion. He was telling Eve basically--If we knew both sides( good and bad) we could choose for ourselves, our path to happiness and not have to listen to Gods advice on those matters. Mortals chose this by rebelling in Eden. Gods kingdom will cure it all.
Todays world-2Timothy 3--
when the OT teaches--an eye for an eye--God was assuring all--JUSTICE will prevail. They will not go unpunished.

We lost the right to live in the world God had in mind for us.

We lost the right to live in ...

whatever world is there than Garden Earth ... that is a creation of the metaphysical forces existing in the universe that humanity and all other living beings have a small share in guiding and collectively for them to determine their own future prosperity. and the sense of an Allmighty that is the path guiding them through the chaos of possibilities.

A better, more logical reason would be that there is no goD, nobody at the controls.

Well, of course. But these faithy types aren't actually employing logic. They are starting from something they insist is true, and then engaging in a "backward think" to snap fit it to real world events.

That's how we get treated to ridiculous, self contradictory philosophies, like, "We know what God wants of us and what his plan is for us!", closely followed by, "Nobody can understand god's plan!"

It is possible that they don’t understand what they believe or can’t explain it well enough for you to understand what they are saying. But I do.

There is absolutely no doubt that everything is working for good but it isn’t always obvious, but reason and experience can explain why it does.

So who would be more at fault someone who believed something which is correct but didn’t fully understand it or couldn’t explain it well or someone who felt he was so superior to them and dismissed something which was true.

Stupid faithy types.

Kinda like the AGW thing.

I do not see the chaotic nature of this world as helping people reach the conclusion that there is a loving God who wishes us well. It seems that quite the opposite is true. Were it not for Christ's words in the Gospels, I would not believe God loves us.

It appears chaotic only because you assume linear time. It is also possible, that all events of life are coincidental frames of reality, and those frames that constitute a set become a logical causal sequence. Then when you introduce time itself, you can't see the connection between them any more. Also God is defined as operating outside time, fitting the above.

God doesn't do evil. He gives us choices and we are judged. Everything will work out according to His plan DESPITE evil Man.

No because if we don't choose God the creator, then we suffer and die. Satan exploited that God gave the choice to Adam and Eve that they have the free will to die too.

It is not a contradiction to know what God's plan is but not understanding it. And the backward thinking of the faiths types is no different from the backward thinking of the atheist types all the way to the axioms of mathematics.

Sorry, no. Most of the crazy bad shit that happens is the inevitable result of material nature itself we are bound up in by our denial of God and the actions caused by those who live in denial of the same. People always seem to miss the point that the world we live in is not a good place and we are here only because of past misdeeds and offenses by living outside our spiritual nature as our chance to ultimately return by his side by getting things right this time around!
