. . . well, not buried obviously, Weiner went down. But folks in the NYPD had hinted that stuff that involved Hillary's staff, Huma Abedine, and others were quite incriminating. . yet it all, just vanished. I don't know.

So, it is that same situation then, as it is now. The FBI didn't move on it, so someone had to. The NYPD KNEW about the laptop, so Comey's hand was forced, or else they would not have moved on it.
