Solar/Wind wont REPLACE 24/7/365 sources we have now. NEVER WILL HAPPEN. So on its face -- it's folly. And it would not EXIST without the subsidies, especially wind, because it's so unreliable. PEOPLE WOULD DIE if they actually followed thru.

About $50 for EVERY refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer with their name on it. SO MUCH SUBSIDY -- that they had YEAR TO YEAR CARRY-OVERS because they couldn't apply it all in any single year.

There's relative levels of evil in govt/corp collusion and NEITHER party will FIX IT because they BOTH DO IT !!

A relatively LOW evil of collusion/handouts is when it's FAIRLY AVAILABLE to ALL players in that marketplace. Like some farm subsidies. After all Unk Sam sends a lot of our food overseas -- so we HAVE to produce more and use more land and resources to do that.

The highest evil form is when it ALL goes to Elon Musk, instead of to open book GRANTS that ANY new or established company can share in.
