Just finished reading Gifted Hands, Ben Carson's autobiography. I thought it was a good read.
The many is very impressive and gifted. A few things stood out to me.
1) the man is very humble
2) he is honest.
3) he knows how to work with others
4) he isn't afraid to pray.
5) he is absolutely brilliant.
The fact that the book was written a while ago before any political ideas were even discussed makes the book a more genuine book. He has no reason to try to portray himself as someone other than who he is.
I also was unaware that he delivered one of his children.
It was a very enlightening book. And he is a far cry from our usual politicians.
