In Bautzen, the Monday walk escalated after an attack by the police. Again and again, police officers arbitrarily spray pepper spray on the walking citizens. The situation is unclear, but the policemen meet with resistance during their attacks. As Free Saxony reports: Police tried to push the walk back, but then had to retreat themselves. Thousands are now marching through downtown Bautzen. Among the citizens are many young, sporty people. The police obviously did not expect such a mobilization. The message is clear: Bautzen cannot be stopped!
