The knife attack in Solingen was a suspected Islamist terrorist attack on the evening of August 23, 2024, the first day of the city's “Festival of Diversity” celebrating the 650th anniversary of the city of Solingen in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). On February 24, 2025, the Federal Public Prosecutor General brought charges before the State Security Senate of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court. There was sufficient suspicion of three counts of murder, ten counts of attempted murder, dangerous bodily harm, grievous bodily harm and membership of a terrorist organization abroad.

At the start of the trial on May 27, 2025, the accused had a statement read out by his defense lawyer. In it, he admitted the crimes he was accused of. He had brought heavy guilt upon himself and was prepared to accept the verdict. He also asked the relatives of his victims to apologize.

A massive cultural enrichment took place yesterday evening at about 9 - 10 PM in Solingen, Germany. It is my neighbor town. Solingen celebrated its 650th anniversary with a "Festival of Diversity". Even on a specific local occasion, all they do is celebrating the demise of their people, culture and city. It is the filthy city of Solingen, another black spot on the German map.
They still did not thematize the attacker, who is still at large. 10 people were culturally enriched, three of them fatally. Its what they called for with their festival. Solingen´s major, who is under investigation for taking money from human smugglers, shed some crocodile tears.

The interesting unspoken point no one is raising here (perhaps I just missed it) is the fact that this story really points to the folly of gun laws.

Europe prides itself on freedom from guns; democrats are fond of pointing out low rates of gun murder.

But let's face facts: had a gun been available, this guy would have used it. All this really shows is that when a person wants to kill, they'll find a way. Take away their gun, and they will just pick up a knife, or use a car or something else.

Violent crime is a failure of the mind, a cancer of the soul, not a consequence of the weapon employed--- guns and knives are tools of war and survival, and don't make people want to kill others, people wanting to kill others already in the first place makes them invent guns and knives.

And the current, modern, overcrowded, forced diversity society of progressivism often drives the mental illness and the emotional plague as if the violence were some inner biological rebellion against a world so artificial, unnatural, and falsely engineered.

Sorry, Lefties, but the great experiment has failed.
