Well, if you start watching Forged In Fire, you will learn most everything there is to know about forging, knives and swords! The judges are experts and they go into every aspect of metal, forging, and bladed weapons both modern and historical! They air about 6 episodes a week and I've watched the show for years and I know I still have not seen them all. Really, if a serious interest, worth buying the entire series on DVD (the episode I happened to link to, I've never seen to this day!).

I've been blacksmithing for 30+ years and slowing down but am surprised at how many people want to learn how quick and easy money is NOT made.

There are definitely no shortcuts in quality metalworking and knife-making! It is a science and art of patience and skill.

So, as always, the hypothetical hatred that could be stirred up by the "far right" any day now, just you wait, worries conventional wisdom far more than the actual hatred of a "knifeman" who deliberately targets victims many decades older than him and makes a point of stabbing them in the neck.

Scholz hopes laws on knifes will tighten. The IS has already responded and declared they will use only knives with a maximum length of six cm in future attacks. Scholz again promised illegals will be deported but it is already known that they just need to refuse to enter the plane and the authorities will have to release them on the scene, even if they go violent.
Meanwhile, Scholz´ party SPD refuses to limit immigration from Syria and Afghanistan (as proposed by the CDU), arguing the refugees are fleeing Islamism. That is bullshit, of course, they just use any pretext to continue flooding the country with criminals.

A massive cultural enrichment took place yesterday evening at about 9 - 10 PM in Solingen, Germany. It is my neighbor town. Solingen celebrated its 650th anniversary with a "Festival of Diversity". Even on a specific local occasion, all they do is celebrating the demise of their people, culture and city. It is the filthy city of Solingen, another black spot on the German map.
They still did not thematize the attacker, who is still at large. 10 people were culturally enriched, three of them fatally. Its what they called for with their festival. Solingen´s major, who is under investigation for taking money from human smugglers, shed some crocodile tears.
