Most gun violence is committed with guns that are not legally owned by the shooter in the crimes. 100 percent of current and proposed gun laws only effect lawful gun owners.

Then just what is your final solution to stop people from shooting each other?

There is no solution. That’s the reality.
Things can be done to try and minimize things.
If you want to just play around with the stats, yeah I guess you could just outright ban things. Assuming that you somehow managed to make all guns disappear (stopped smuggling of guns, managed to get every gun out there to disappear, etc), yeah shootings would decrease. But you would see a large uptick in stabbings, beatings, etc.
I’d bet you’d also see a rise in things like home invasions, mugging, etc as a result of criminals emboldened knowing the won’t be shot.
I think the best we can do is try to improve the fabric of society so that violent crime in general decreases.
