I’m a lifelong Democrat; I make no apologies for that. I’m proud of what my party represents and what it stands for. As part of my participation in the democratic process and in support of my chosen candidate, I have led some of the biggest fund-raisers in my party’s history. Barack Obama in 2012. Hillary Clinton in 2016. Joe Biden in 2020. Last month I co-hosted the single largest fund-raiser supporting any Democratic candidate ever, for President Biden’s re-election. I say all of this only to express how much I believe in this process and how profound I think this moment is.

I love it when celebrities think they need to dabble in politics. I love people who pretend or make-believe various characters in movies and shows and think they are political experts. If Clooney understood how politics works .. he'd realize democrats can't do a damn thing unless ol' Joe croaks or voluntarily steps down.

Did Clooney vote for Biden in the recent primaries? If so (which he probably did), why wasn't it then? Why did he support Joe when he cast his vote?

I read today that Biden's team responded to Clooney's op-ed by claiming that Biden has more stamina than Clooney because Biden stayed longer at the fundraising event last month and Clooney left early. Yeah, that's proof!

I just heard on the news that Clooney got Obama’s approval before making the statement. Obama clearly sees that this demented old man, whom he had to help walk off-stage, will lose to Trump - and Obama’s goal is to continue his destruction of America.

Look, I voted for Biden in 2020 and I voted for him in the IL primary, but what I saw was an old man who was unfocused and Trump walked all over him. Then I imagined that same old man at 86 in 2024, when a new crisis breaks out.

If you are willing to lose this election due to one man's ego, that's fine. Just be clear that's what's happening here.
