I think it does a poor job of describing the origin of species and doesn't address the origin of life but it does a good job of explaining how species evolve over time. Darwin's idea of slight successive changes as the explanation for the origin of species doesn't match t

Darwin had no knowledge of genes even though the father of modern genetics lived during his time. I'm sure if Darwin had known about Mendel's work he would have incorporated genetic mutation into his work. So even though his theory is not perfect, it's hard to deny the evidence of life evolving over time. It's not inconsistent with a creator. It actually glorifies him more.

The source is sound reasoning. I can be sure because all the pieces fit perfectly. Jesus, a teacher of Law, said he was the light of the world who came to bring division. In Gen. God put a light in the sky to divide day from night.

Void. That depends on the Greek term used for void. Does void mean formless or does it mean empty. Im not that proficient in Greek only a bit here and there so I'm just asking. We're talking like gap theory here right? The 'rocks' could have been created long looonnnng ago and then one gay God determines to make something of one for man. Or, it could just be the next step after creating the heavens and earth. I've considered that before. That could be. I'll give that consideration.
