GDP misses on Q4

Government spending is a component of GDP. Read a book.
You really need to work on comprehension, Moroner. Government PRODUCES NOTHING. Shut-down governments inhibit GDP as I clearly stated but they CONTRIBUTE NOTHING to GDP. SMFH. Do you know the difference between CONSUMPTION and PRODUCTION?

So there was no partisan divide on the bailout, thanks for proving my point, Democrats and Republicans work for the rich. That was easy.
This Trump shit show has gone way past the point you should have bowed down to me and cried apologizing for how wrong you were and how right I was about the GOP. But if you aren't there yet, guess what? You'll never get there.

This is you showing me you're a right winger basically. I'd love to see your facebook algorithms. All pro trump shit I bet huh? Tell me about what pops up in you social media feeds.

/------/ Concerned American is 100% correct. "government adds NOTHING to GDP in and of itself." The only thing you can say the government produces in and of itself is regulations.

It's you who needs to read some random book you mentioned.
You dipshits missed the point.

It appears too dipshits don’t understand what GDP means.

You’re all very obsessed with a literal definition of production, like it doesn’t count as production unless you can hold it in your hands.

Which is a very simple way of looking at the world.

You dipshits missed the point.

Trump administration taps automakers to boost weapons production in WWII-style push

Senior defense officials discussed producing munitions and war materials with top executives from several companies

Government can produce a strong vibrant middle class or a shitty middle class like Canada.

In the past American capitalism with liberal labor laws and unions produced a middle class the world has never seen before. Including social security and medicare. Well regulated capitalism worked best. Not what we have today where the rich have taken over our government and soon all our media.

We've been saying this for over 20 years now

OSTFU Sealyfag.

Just an autocorrect error.

You can’t blame autocorrect for your fundamental misunderstanding of what constitutes GDP.
/-----/ I asked Gemini who agrees auto correct does not always correct a misuse of a word if it is spelled correctly. What is funny is that it read your posts and included it in the answer:

Why Autocorrect Still Fails (The "Dipshit" Phenomenon)

If autocorrect is so smart, why do people still end up with sentences like "It appears too dipshits don’t understand"?

  • The "Fat Finger" Typo: If someone accidentally types t-o-o, autocorrect sees a perfectly valid English word. Unless the semantic context engine is highly aggressive, it prefers not to override a correctly spelled word.
  • User History Overrides: Modern keyboards learn from user habits. If a user frequently typed "too" in error and manually overrode autocorrect's corrections in the past, the keyboard's machine-learning algorithm will cave in and think, "Okay, I guess this person just likes using 'too' here."
  • The Verdict: Autocorrect understands the mathematical and grammatical differences perfectly. However, it is ultimately a servant to human input, and if a human types a valid word in an irregular sentence, autocorrect will often just stand back and let the trainwreck happen.

Okay.

Still has nothing to do with the fact you don’t understand GDP and the government role in it.

Government spending increases GDP. That’s just a basic fact.

/-----/ Ok, it does in part, like when the government buys equipment for the military and such.

But a very common misconception is that all government spending goes into GDP. It does not.

A massive portion of government budgets consists of transfer payments. These are simple redistributions of income where the government gives money to individuals but does not receive a good or service in return, such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment benefits, and welfare payments.

Medicare and Medicaid are not transfer payments.

Social security, unemployment are, however these are then captured in private consumption, since the vast majority of this money is spent.

The point is that government cuts will result in loss of GDP.
