Original reading, with the shutdown factored in: 1.4%.

Revised reading , with the shutdown factored in: 0.7%.

Woah. That’s really low.

Let’s see. The shutdown is estimated to have shaved 1.16 % off the GDP that quarter. Let’s add it to the results.

Math: For the first reading, it would’ve been 1.4+1.16.= 1.56% GDP

FOR THE REVISED READING, 0.7+1.16 = 1.23%. Daaamnn that’s low! Even when we are just for the shutdown effects.

So not only is Trump worse than Biden in the foreign foreign policy area, but also the economy.

The story here is not the revision, but the impact that government spending has on our GDP. It is WAY out of control.
