I have no problem with Peterson being gay and speaking out against homosexual behavior and acts. I believe Paul, the Apostle, may have been gay. He never married. He also talked about a specific "thorn" in his side that tormented him. Even with this possibility, he spoke out against homosexual acts in Romans chapter one. He equated homosexual acts with murder in that chapter. He also spoke about with faith in Christ, we can overcome all sins that we may have committed and are tempted by. As far as Peterson, if he's a reverend of Christ, then I would expect him to still preach against the practice of homosexuality. Even if he's still struggling personally with it. The same as an alcoholic continuing to struggle with his or her disease.
