1. raise the federal minimum age to buy a firearm to 21 from 18;
2. mandate universal background checks;
3. institute a “reasonable” waiting period for all gun purchases and ban assault rifles nationally.
1 Yes, 2. Yes 3. reasonable waiting, yes (uncertain on Assault Rifles. too many variables on what one of those is)
Also.. NY is proposing to limit ammo purchases to twice the capacity of the weapon once every 120 days.
So yes "Change may be coming"

That was the first thing I thought of. Of the ~40K deaths from firearms each year, half are consistently caused by suicide. The bulk of the rest are crime/gang related. Add to that the fact that Americans will NEVER allow confiscation without a serious fight, and any effort to remove 400 million firearms would be pointless as long as our borders no longer exist.Does that include suicides?
Suicide is not gun violence nor is it a crime.
The useful idiots will argue and protest and chant about the "death of innocents" but they'd cheerfully see 10X as many die if it meant they'd get their way.
