The age of majority should be 21, like it was before the Vietnam War

Funny how 18-20yr olds aren't mature enough be trusted with handguns, but 16-17yr olds should be able to vote.

I agree, the age to buy alcohol should be 18.

When I was a teen, we could legally drink at 18, and we were all better for it!

There were also some classmates who came to school in pickup trucks with fully loaded gun racks in the back window. For some weird reason, it never occurred to them to bring those guns inside and take out their angst on the rest of us!

And we had Jarts! Real Jarts! You could throw them over the house and penetrate someone's skull! They weren't those candy-ass plastic-tipped jokes you see today.

If you really wanted to take your life into your hands, the authorities provided a tall death trap jungle gym for tots. Bark dust under them? Are you ******* joking? It was solid concrete!

This made our generation hard. Survival of the fittest. So what if we left an army of quadriplegics in our wake.
