The politics of water have been played in LA and CA for more than a hundred years. LA steals water from whoever they can, cases of note--the Owens Valley, Colorado River, Sacramento-San Joaquin delta and more recently the Columbia River. Southern CA is a DESERT--make the morons that choose to live there desalinate ocean water instead of making deserts out of places that have water.
